The floats are used on wooden or metal structures as displacement floats for a floating platform element, the so-called Y-boom. This then serves as a gateway or floating walkway for accessing the boat or a mooring.
The pontoon design allows for quick installation on the platform's frame structure. The pontoons are made of polyethylene and manufactured using rotational molding.
The advantages of polyethylene include its overall resistance to environmental factors, impact resistance, and UV protection. The floats are also very versatile due to their light weight.
